Tzahi was most recently seen in Intimate Apparel
at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta he was last seen in the American Premiere of The Murder
of Issac at Baltimore Centerstage.
Christ in the City the short he starred in
recently won best short film at the 16th Washington Jewish Film Festival.
Tzahi is originally from Israel where he worked professionally
in theatre and television.
Since moving to New York City Tzahi's theatre cedits include
Avigdor in Yentl with the Folksbiene Theatre , Unexpected Journeys and the
World premiere of Little Pitfall both with the OBIE award winning Immigrants Theatre Project
and the role of Aaron Rosebury in MarX' Daughter with the Manhattan Theatre Source.
Regionally Tzahi has worked with the George
Street Playhouse and originated the role of Abraham in How His Bride Came to Abraham with the Playwrights
Theatre of New Jersey.
Film credits include Zev in The Visitor (Directed
by Thomas McCarthy, writer/director of The Station Agent), Noam in A Day Off and
Mair in It Goes on both with Genco Films and the role of Jesus in Christ in the City.
Tzahi has worked with Bob Kalfin (Broadway
Director-Strider, Happy End and the original Production of Yentl), David Saint
(Artistic Director of the Geroge Street Playhouse), Theodore Bikel , Tovah Feldshuh and
Larry Kamerman (Executive Producer of the feature film The Daytrippers).
Tzahi has studied with Austin Pendelton at
the HB Studios and is a Graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was a member of the Academy's Company
from 1999 to 2000.
